I am living in a beautiful and modern city which is called Shenzhen. It is located in the east of Pearl River Delta and generally speaking, the city is almost a tropical city. In other words, the winter here is rather moderate. But the problem is, unlike the weather in summer, there are heavy overcasts in most days of winter. And the lowest temperature is almost zero degree. Therefore, frankly speaking, winter is an unpleasant weather for the people in Shenzhen.

Winter is approaching. The weather is becoming more and more unstable. It may be sunny, but it is very cold. On other days, though it's gloomy, the temperature is higher than expected. Whether it feels cold or not really depends on if the wind is blowing. Even when the temperature is not too low, when the wind blows, it feels much colder. When it is so chilly, it seems a much better choice to stay indoors. Going outside seems like a chore. During the changing of the seasons, it is very important to be prepared for unpredictable weather conditions.
