Nowadays, there has been a heated discussion as to computer using. Views on the topic vary greatly among people from different walks of life. Some believe that computer has made our lives more convenient, but others are concerned that a computer addiction have taken place.

I agree with the latter, and there are two major reasons that can account for this. Firstly, technological development has changed the real world fundamentally. Online shopping, meetings and interactions on daily basis are not unfamiliar to general public. We choose to tackle things with computers as much as possible to save time and energy. Secondly, we are not prepared to enter the brand-new world. The new form has made us more isolated and lack of personal touch.

From my perspective, it is crucial that our society should encourage people to be aware of this negative impact of computer addiction and spend more time on offline social life rather than living solely in the virtual world. Also, it is high time that people embraced the convenience brought by advanced technologies. Only by doing so can we live a healthy and balanced life.
