孙白杨：不过是小小微肿发瘀，娘娘不必记挂。
英文字幕：lt's swollen and bruised a bit, Madam, you don't have to mind.

知识点1：
这里，swollen是swell的过去分词，表示膨胀、肿胀的意思：If something such as a part of your body swells, it becomes larger and rounder than normal.

eg1. His face was swollen (up) with toothache.
他的脸因牙痛而肿了起来。

eg2. The limbs swell to an enormous size.
腿已经肿的不成样子了。

而bruise表示淤青、挫伤：A bruise is an injury which appears as a purple mark on your body, although the skin is not broken.

eg3. He was covered in bruises after falling off his bicycle.
他从自行车上摔下来，满身青一块﹑ 紫一块的。

孙白杨：其实太医院院规严明，催生绝非正路，臣只是情非得已，不得不行。
英文字幕：Actually the Imperial Hospital's regulation explicitly forbids induced labour. lt's just an exigency for me to resort to this practice.

知识点2：
这里有个单词灰常值得学习：resort.作动词使用时，这个单词通常表示作为应急或无奈之举而采取措施，比如例子里孙白杨如果能用正常的方法保住如妃的胎儿，就不会破例用宫中严禁的催生之法了。

eg4. It was after the failure of this attempt that he resorted to force.
是这次尝试失败之后他才诉诸武力的。

eg5. All along he had opposed the idea of armed resistance except as the last resort.
他始终反对采取武力抵抗的办法，除非拿它当作万不得已的手段。

当然，resort也可以作名词用，最常见的就是表示度假、旅游胜地：

eg6. This place has become a famous summer resort.
这个地方已成为一个避暑胜地。

如妃：这话说到底，大人始终都是心在本宫，所以才会以身试法。不像你爹，只懂得苟且因循，不懂变通。
英文字幕：Anyway, you're loyal to me so that you break the regulation. You aren't like your dad who just follows the book without any flexibility.

知识点3：
苟且因循也就是循规蹈矩的意思，翻译为follow the book或者observe all rules and regulations都行。只是英文与汉语不同，是经不起重复的语言，为了行文优美，同一段话中最好不要反复使用同一个词来表达固定意思，可以选择近义的替换词。这里上一句话总已经用了regulation一词，所以下一句翻译时就避开regulation，而用follow the book来表达，酱紫文字就有了变通美^^
