Producers of an $80-million Chinese historical epic film claim that Chow Yun-Fat, who was to have starred in it, made excessive demands that were rejected by the movie's Hollywood insurer. Chow later announced that he was withdrawing from the film because he had received the script too late for him to prepare adequately for his role.


制作方声称，本应在一部斥资八千万的中国历史史诗片中担任主角的周润发由于提出了过高的要求而遭到了影片好莱坞承保人的拒绝。其后，周润发宣布因为收到剧本太迟导致其不能够为角色塑造做充分准备，从而决定退出参演该片。
