第九集一开始，孙白杨受徐公公所迫，秘密为尔淳治疗寒食散瘾症，不料却被细心的玉莹发现蛛丝马迹，误以为他和尔淳有私情。

玉莹：说的也是，慰藉相思之苦也算是诊病。跟皇上的女人有苟且之情可是死罪，你当然不敢承认。
英文字幕：That's right, relieving a longing heart can also be considered as treatment. Having an affair with His Majesty's woman is reason enough for a death sentence. Of course you won't admit to it.

知识点1：
相思之苦，英文意思就是the bitterness of missing one's lover，不过酱紫翻译的话字数太多，不是很有美感。a longing heart，一颗渴望（被爱）的心，是不是很有感觉呢~

longing既是形容词，表示渴望的、憧憬的，也是名词，表示渴望、憧憬。它是根据原形动词long衍伸而来的。If you long for something, you want it very much.渴望。

eg1.The pain made him long for oblivion.
他疼得恨不得失去知觉才好。

eg2.The children are longing for the holidays.
孩子们盼望放假。

eg3.All the old love and longing for him welled up inside her.
往昔对他的热爱与渴念又全涌上她心头。

知识点2：
有私情：have an affair这个词组大家应该都很熟悉了吧，各种电影电视剧的八卦台词中总有这句。有外遇，有JQ，有一腿，搞小三，勾搭某人，关系暧昧……反正凡是不好不纯洁的爱情关系通通都可以用这个词组。orz

eg4.It's an open secret that he 's have an affair with his secretary.
他跟秘书的私情是一个公开的秘密。

玉莹：死到临头还这么轻松，我看孙大人的胆色和色胆一样这么大。
英文字幕：Fancy being so laid back when your head is on the line, you do fool around as freely as you do speaking your mind.

知识点3：
on the line除了可以表示某人在电话线上外，也能表示有会失败或受伤害的危险。your head is on the line就是你的头很危险----要人头不保啦！这样翻译“死到临头”是不是很妙很有意思呢^^

fancy是个动词，表示喜欢做某事。这句话把fancy所带的句子提到开头，和后面you do fool around as freely as you do speaking your mind表示根据现象推断结论。

fool around：鬼混。If someone fools around with another person, especially when one of them is married, they have a casual sexual relationship.

eg5.Never fool around with the clients' wives.
千万不要和客户的妻子有一腿。

玉莹：不过倒也是，我要是说出来对我毫无好处，那又何必这么多事呢。
英文字幕：But then again, there's nothing in it for me, so why should I meddle in other's business.

知识点4：
there's nothing in it for me，表面意思是里面没我什么东西，就是说我什么好处都没有啦，相当生动的翻译。meddle in sth：干涉，管闲事。
