沪江英乐 G.C 成立于2001年,MELL加入乐队成功翻唱了Moonlight Shadow，乐队初露锋芒.后来MELL怀孕，期间乐队找到了18岁的Verena，Verena的加入巩固了G.C的实力，也确定了乐队唱英文歌曲的路线。随后Lou Bega 加盟并创作了“God is a Girl“，这首歌使的Verena和DJ Novus获得了极大的成功。于是MELL在歇完产假后又回到了前台。之后乐队推出了"Poison"，而这首歌在全球许许多多的国家的排行榜上名列前茅，然后是“7 years and 50 days”乐队又获得了极大的成功。
