朱莉 皮尔，出生于法国戛纳，唱作俱佳，擅长多种乐器，自己独立制作完成《Near The Sun》这张处子专辑。朱莉成长在加拿大和法国，自小就是一个向往独立，自由的孩子。她说：“五岁的时候就开始骑着车，或者去钓鱼……”在创造《Near The Sun》这张专辑的时候，幼年的这种独立精神很深的影响了她。“这首歌我写完之后，一个小时后我就录制了这首歌。我想这首歌曲是最代表我心里所想的一首歌曲吧！”她说。
