David Tibet有一个永远躁动不安的灵魂，从沉沦黑暗到安静祥和，David Tibet寻找着一个现代人共同向往的灵魂归宿——一个平静而充实的精神世界。而David Tibet寻找的工具就是他的乐队Current 93。

多年来Current 93就好像是苟且于黑暗中的灵魂，在无意识的空间里寻找着方向；在颓废与邪恶的纠缠下卷入血腥的漩涡中，之后通过自我救赎，奇迹般地以另一种形态重生。

David Tibet于1960年出生于马来西亚北部城市Batu Gajah，并在那里度过了14年。童年时的Tibet十分喜爱他的出生地，特别是当地的浓郁宗教氛围。小小年纪的他对南亚宗教的喜爱的性格爱好，纠缠着Tibet的生命，并直接影响着他日后的音乐。1973年Tibet随父母移居英国，在那里他才开始真正与西方文明接触。当时臭名昭著的工业噪音乐队Throbbing Gristle对Tibet产生了巨大的吸引力。以至于他搬到伦敦后就马上与该成员接触，而最终成为乐队的演出阵容的正式成员之一。
