A group of retired NFL players have filed a lawsuit saying the league illegally supplied them with risky painkillers. They said the drugs numbed their injuries and led to medical complications. The 8 named plaintiffs include hall of fame Defensive End Richard Dent and Quarterback Jim McMahon of the 1985 super bowl champion Chicago Bears.
 
President Barack Obama is playing a business pitchman. Obama welcomed the leaders 11 foreign and US based firms that have opened new plants in the United Staes or brought back overseas operations.
 
General Motor is recalling nearly 2.5 million vehicles in the US, part of a broader effort to resolve outstanding safety issues more quickly. The latest action brings the total to more than 13.5 million vehicles GM has recalled this year.
 
And Kentucky Derby and Preakness winner California Chrome arrived at Belmont Park Tuesday, aiming for the first Triple Crown Win since 1978. He will be allowed to wear a nasal strip in the Belmont stakes on June 7th.
