以下的表达,可能经常出现在你们常用于书写或者应试的时候,但是在口语交流中,可千万不要再这么用哦,对方可能会直接给你三个问号,有可能会觉得你是活在了三百年前。

Neither...nor... 
不是...也不是

She likes neither butter nor cheese.
她既不喜欢黄油也不喜欢乳酪。

正确表达是直接用or的否定句型就好了。

例句:

I don’t want cake or ice cream for dessert.
我不要蛋糕或冰淇淋当甜点。

I don’t want either.
我也是。

什么时候能用neither呢?

比如:A:

I don’t like ice cream.
我不喜欢冰淇淋
B:
Me neither/Me either.
我也不喜欢。

后者Me either虽然我们可能会认为这个不正确,但是这在口语日常生活中却是比较多见,总而言之,me neither是比较正确的。

Although/though
虽然

在平时口语中,我们经常会用though。

Although比较常用于比较正式的场合或者语境。

 

较为不准确的用法:

Though it was raining, we still went on a hike.
虽然在下雨,我们还是去远足了。

一般在口语表达中,很少用though作为一个句子的开头,因为听起来过于正式还有僵硬。

如果需要把though放在开头,那么加上even,也就是even though.

even though it was raining, we still went on a hike.
尽管在下雨,我们还是去远足了。

Though还可以这么用

The party was boring, but the food was pretty good though.
聚会很无聊,但是食物很好吃。
