“The True Meaning of Christmas.”

To me, Christmas is the joy of getting.

Charlie Brown: You mean “giving”. Christmas is the joy of giving.
Charlie Brown:

Sally: I don’t have the slightest idea what you’re talking about.
Sally:

Christmas is getting all you can get while the getting is good.

Charlie Brown: Giving. The only real joy is giving.
Charlie Brown:

Sally: Like, wow.
Sally:

Tips

do not have the slightest idea一点儿也不知道

I haven't got the slightest idea who he is.

Sally: I’m making out my Christmas list. Now, how do you spell your name?
Sally:

Charlie Brown: I’m your brother and you don’t even know how to spell my name?
Charlie Brown:

Sally: I’ll put down “Sam”. I know how to spell that.

Sally: What was his name again?

Sally:

Charlie Brown: Santa Claus.

Charlie Brown:

Sally: Any middle initial?

Sally:

Charlie Brown: No, I don’t think so. At least I’ve never heard of one.

Charlie Brown:

Sally: How about his wife? Do you know her name?

Sally:

Charlie Brown: Well, sometimes you hear people say her name is Mary Christmas.

Charlie Brown:嗯?有时候你会听到人们说她的名字是Mary Christmas(因为与Merry Christmas发音相似)。

Sally: Really? That’s very interesting. Maybe I’ll write to her instead.

Sally:
