一、过去将来完成时和一般完成时，这两种时态在英语语法上有一定的相似之处，它们都是表示已经完成的事情，但是，过去将来完成时更为复杂，它强调的时间是“过去”，而且是过去看将来的已经完成的事情和状态。例如：
1.He told them he would have finished it by 8 o'clock.
他告诉他们他会在8点以前干完。
2.I guessed that Helen would have told her something.
我猜海伦会告诉她一些情况的。

二、一般完成时是我们经常用到的一种时态，现在完成时为过去发生的，强调过去的事情对现在的影响，强调的是影响；现在完成时通常与模糊的时间状语连用，或无时间状语。例如：
1.I have finished my homework .
我已经完成了我的功课。
2.My father has come from Japan .
我的父亲已经从日本回来。
3.I have lived here since 1999.
自从1999年我就一直住在这里。
4.She has lived here for ten years .
她在这里居住已经有十年了。
5.My uncle has been to beijing .
我的叔叔去过北京。
6.When I got to the airport , the plane had taken off .
当我到达机场的时候，飞机已经起飞了。
7.How long have you been here?
你来这里多长时间了？
8.I've been here for an hour.
我来这里已经一个小时了。
