Thank you, thank you very much everybody.

Sorry to keep you waiting. Complicated business. Complicated.

Thank you very much.

I’ve just received a call from Secretary Clinton.

She congratulated us – it’s about us – on our victory.

And I congratulated her and her family on a very very hard fought campaign. I mean she fought very hard.

Hillary has worked very long and very hard over a long period of time.

And we owe her a major debt of gratitude to her service to our great country. I mean that very sincerely.

Now it’s time for America to bind the wounds of division. We have to get together.

To all Republicans and Democrats and independents across this nation.

I say it is time for us to come together as one united people. It’s time.

I pledge to every citizen in our land that I will be president for all Americans.

And this is so important to me.

For those who have chosen to not vote for me in the past, which there were a few people, I’m reaching out to you for your guidance and your help so that we can work together and unify our great country.

As I’ve said from the beginning: ours was not a campaign but rather an incredible and great movement made up of millions of hardworking men and women who love their country and want a better, brighter future for themselves and for their family.

It’s a movement comprised of Americans from all races, religions, backgrounds and beliefs who want and expect our government to serve our people.

And, serve the people it will.

Working together, we’ll begin the urgent task of rebuilding our nation and renewing the American dream.

I’ve spent my entire life in business looking at the untapped potential in projects and in people all over the world.

That is now what I wanna do for our country.

Tremendous potential. I’ve got to know our country so well. Tremendous potential.

It’s gonna be a beautiful thing.

Every single American will have the opportunity to realize his or her fullest potential.

The forgotten men and women of our country will be forgotten no longer.

We’re going to fix our inner cities and rebuild our highways, bridges, tunnels, airports, schools, hospitals.

We’re gonna rebuild our infrastructure which will become, by the way, second to none.

And we will put millions of our people to work as we rebuild it.

We will also, finally, take care of our great veterans who’ve been so loyal, and I’ve got to know so many over this 18-month journey.

The time I’ve spent with them in this campaign has been among my greatest honors.

Veterans are incredible people.

We will embark upon a project of national growth and renewal.

And I will harness the creative talents of our people.

And we will call upon the best and brightest to leverage their tremendous talents for the benefits of all.

It’s gonna happen.

We have a great economic plan.

We will double our growth and have the strongest economy anywhere in the world.

At the same time we will get along with all other nations willing to get along with us.

We will do.

We will have great relationships. We expect to have great great relationships.

No dream is too big. No challenge is too great. Nothing we want for our future is beyond our reach.

America will no longer settle for anything less than the best.

We must reclaim our country’s destiny and dream big and bold and daring.

We have to do that.

We’re going to dream big things for our country, and beautiful things and successful things once again.

I want to tell the world community that, while I will always put America’s interest first, we will deal fairly with everyone. With everyone. All people and all other nations.

We will seek common ground. Not hostility. Partnership, not conflict.

And now, I’d like to take this moment to thank some of the people who really helped me in this what they will call it a very very historic victory.

First I wanna thank my parents who I know are looking down on me right now.

Great people.

I’ve learned so much from them. They were wonderful in every regard. I had truly incredible parents.

I also want to thank my sisters, Mariana and Elizabeth, who are here with us tonight.

And…… Where are they? They’re here some place.

They’re very shy actually.

And my brother Robert, my great friend. Where is Robert? Where is Robert?

My brother Robert.

And they should all be on this stage. But that’s OK.

Very great.

And also my late brother Fred, great guy, fantastic guy.

Fantastic family. I was very lucky.

Great brothers, sisters. Great, unbelievable parents.

To Melania and Don. And Ivanka and Eric and Tiffany and Barren.

I love you and I thank you, and especially for putting up all those hours. This was tough. This was tough.

This political stuff is nasty and it’s tough.

So I wanna thank my family very much. Really fantastic, thank you all, thank you all.

And Larra, unbelievable job, unbelievable. Vanessa, thank you, thank you very much.

What a great group.

You’ve all given me such incredible support.

And I will tell you that we have a large group of people.

You know, they kept saying we have a small staff. That’s not so small. Look at all the people that we have.

Look at all of these people.

And Kelly-Ann and Chris, Rudy, and Steve and David.

We have got, we have got tremendously talented people up here. I want to tell you it’s been, it’s been very very special.

I wanna give a special thanks to our former mayor Rudy Giuliani who’s unbelievable. Unbelievable.

He traveled with us and he went through meetings.

Yeah that really never changes.

Where is Rudy? Where is he?

Rudy.

Governor Chris Christie, folks, was unbelievable.

Thank you, Chris.

The first man, first Senator, first major major politician. Let me tell you, he is highly respected in Washington because he is as smart as you get.

Senator Jeff Sessions. Where is Jeff?

Great man.

Another great man, very tough competitor. He was not easy. He was not easy.

Who is that? Is that the mayor that showed up? That Rudy?

Oh, Rudy get up here.

Another great man who’s been really a friend to me. I’ll tell you I got to know him as a competitor because he was one of the folks that was negotiating to go against those Democrats.

Dr. Ben Carson. Where is Ben? Where is Ben?

And by the way Mike Beebe is here somewhere. He is fantastic.

Mike and his family, Sarah, thank you very much.

General Mike Flynn. Where is Mike?

And General Kellogg.

We have over 200 generals and admirals that endorsed our campaign.

And they are special people and it’s really an honor.

We have 22 congressional medal-of-honor recipients. We have just tremendous people.

A very special person who believed me, and I’ve read reports that I wasn’t getting along with him, I never had a bad second with him.

He’s an unbelievable star.

He is. That’s right! How did you possibly guess? So let me tell you Reigns and I’ve said this.

I said Reigns, I know it, I know it, look at all those people over there.

Reigns is a superstar, but I said they can’t call you a superstar, Reigns, unless we win.

‘Cause you can’t be call a superstar like Secretary……

I tell you Reigns is really a star. And he is the hardest working guy.

And in a certain way I did this, Reigns! Come up here! Where is Reigns? Get over here, Reigns.

Boy oh boy oh boy.

It’s about time you did this Reigns.

Say a few words.

Say something.

…………

Amazing guy.

Our partnership with the RNC is so important to the success and what we’ve done.

So I also have to say I’ve got to know some incredible people – the secret service people.

They are tough. And they smart. And they are sharp. And I don’t want to mess around with them, I can tell you.

And I wanted to wave to a big group of people and they ripped me off and put me down on the seat.

But they are fantastic people so I wanna thank the secret service.

And law enforcement in New York City. They are here tonight.

These are spectacular people sometimes underappreciated unfortunately.

But we appreciate them. We know what they go through.

So it’s been what they call it a historic event.

But, to be really historic, we have to do a great job.

And I promise you that we will not let you down. We will do a great job. We will do a great job.

I look very much forward to being your president.

And hopefully after 2 years or 3 years or 4 years, maybe even 8 years, you will say, so many of you worked so hard for us, but you will say that it was something that you were really very proud to do.

And I can, thank you very much, and I can only say that while the campaign is over our work and this movement is now really just beginning.

We are going to get to work immediately for the American people.

And we’re going to be doing a job that hopefully you’ll be so proud of your president, you’ll be so proud.

Again, it’s my honor. It’s an amazing evening. It’s been an amazing 2-year period.

And I love this country.

Thank you. Thank you very much.

Never take it personal.

Just certain people need to hear certain things.

Thank you. Thank you all. ……….

Very proud of you group.

Thank you my friends. Thank you. Thank you so very much for being here.

And I love you all, too.

Last night I congratulated Donald Trump and offer to work with him on behalf of our country.

I hope that he will be a successful president for all Americans.

This is not the outcome we wanted or worked so hard for.

And I am sorry that we did not win this election for the values we share and the visions we hold for our country.

But I feel, I feel pride and gratitude for this wonderful campaign that we built together, this vast, diverse, creative, unruly, energized campaign.

You represent the best of America and being your candidate has been one of the greatest honor of my life.

I know how disappointed you feel because I feel it too.

And so do tens of millions of Americans who invested their hopes and dreams in this effort.

This is painful and it will be for a longtime.

But I want you to remember this.

Our campaign was never about one person or even one election.

It was about the country we love and about building an America that’s hopeful, inclusive and big hearted.

We have seen that our nation is more deeply divided than we thought.

But I still believe in America and I always will.

And if you do, then we must accept this result and then look to the future.

Donald Trump is going to be our president. We owe him an open mind and a chance to lead.

Our constitutional democracy enshrines the peaceful transfer of power.

And we don’t just respect that. We cherish it.

It also enshrines other things – the rule of law, the principle that we are all equal in rights and dignity, freedom of worship and expression.

We respect and cherish these values too. And we must defend them.

And let me add, our constitutional democracy demands our participation. Not just every 4 years but all the time.

So let’s do all we can to keep advancing the courses and values we all hold dear, making our economy work for everyone, not just those at the top, protecting our country and protecting our planet and breaking all the barriers that hold any American back from achieving their dreams.

We spent a year and a half bringing together billions of people from every corner of our country to say with onevoice that we believe that the American dream is big enough for everyone, for people of all races and religions, for men and women, for immigrants, for LGBT people and people with disabilities, for everyone.

So now, our responsibility as citizens is to keep doing our part to build that better, stronger, fairer America we seek.

And I know you will.

I am so grateful to stand with all of you.

I wanna thank Tim Kaine and Ann Holton for being our partners on this journey.

It has been a joy to get to know them better and it gives me great hope and comfort to know that Tim will remain on the front lines of our democracy representing Virginia as a Senator.

To Barack and Michelle Obama, our country owes you an enormous debt of gratitude.

We thank you for your graceful, determined leadership that has meant so much for so many Americans and people across the world.

And to Bill and Chelsea, Mark, Charlotte,Aiden, our brothers and our entire family, my love for you is more than I canever express.

You crisscrossed this country on our behalf and lifted me up when I needed it most even 4-month-old Aiden who traveled with his mom.

I will always be grateful to the creative, talented, dedicated men and women at our headquarters in Brooklyn and across our country.

You poured your hearts into this campaign. For some of you who are veterans it’s a campaign after you had done other campaigns. Some of you, it was your first campaign.

I want each of you to know that you are the best campaign anybody could ever expected or wanted.

And to the millions of volunteers, community leaders, activists and union organizers who knocked down doors, talked to neighbors, posted on facebook, even in secret private facebook sites, I want everybody to come out from behind that and make sure your voices are heard going forward.

For everyone that sent in contributions as small as 5 dollars that kept us going, thank you, thank you from all of us.

And to the young people in particular, I hope you will hear this.

I have, as Tim said, spent my entire adult life fighting for what I believe in.

I had successes and I had setbacks, sometimes really painful ones.

Many of you are at the beginning of your professional, public and political careers.

You will have successes and setbacks too.

This loss hurts. But please never stop believing that fighting for what’s right is worth it.

It is. It is worth it.

And so we need you to keep up these fights now and the rest of your life.

And to all the women, and especially the young women, who put their faith in this campaign and in me, I want you to know that nothing has made me prouder than to be your champion.

Now, I know that we have still not shattered that highest and hardest glass ceiling, but someday someone will and hopefully sooner than we might think right now.

And to all the little girls who are watching this, never doubt that you’re valuable and powerful and deserving of every chance and opportunity in the world to pursue and achieve your own dreams.

Finally, finally, I am so grateful for our country and for all it has given to me.

I count my blessings every single day that I am an American.

And I still believe as deeply as I ever have that if we stand together and work together with respect for our differences, strength in our convictions and love for this nation our best days are still ahead of us.

Because, you know, I believe we are stronger together and we will go forward together.

And you should never, ever regret fighting for that.

You know, scripture tells us, let us not grow weary in doing good, for in due season we shall reap if we do not lose heart.

So my friends, let us have faith in each other, let us not grow weary and lose heart, for there are more seasons to come and there is more work to do.

I am incredibly honored and grateful to have had this chance to represent all of you in this consequential election.

May God bless you and may God bless the United States of America.
