What worries college graduates the most? To find the perfect job!

Many college students started to prepare early to excel in the fierce job market. Some students in Henan province have the opportunity to practice real business through a new online business practice base the school has provided.

Chen Zhe has the story.

"We set targets for our students. Each student should have finished an order of at least 1 million RMB before they graduated."

Zhang Mingye is the professor in the Business and Trade school of Hebei College of Finance. Prof. Zhang initiated the new program to the school since February this year. In cooperation with , the world's largest online B2B marketplace, the new program creates the college's first online business practice base.

"The development of E-business has provided opportunities for our students to practice serious business when they are still on campus. No matter wherever they are, they can just get online and find clients and orders for their enterprises."

The college's efforts to develop its business practice base started in 2002. But the history of its online base can only be traced back two years. Back then, some local enterprises found the college, in search for more business talents.

In 2007, a junior named Zhai Cui was hired by a towel company. In one year, Zhai got orders which equaled more than 2 million RMB. Her sales number takes up almost 10 percent of sales for the small enterprise. Zhai Cui is not the only student who achieved honorable sales performance in the practice base.

With the guidance with Prof. Zhang Mingye, we visited the office of those student sales people. A shelf is on the doorway showing Towels of different colors and designs, butterfly-shaped handicrafts and different herb teas. A dozen or so students are hard at work online.
