在美国当代英语语料库统计的20000个常用词中，be位列动词榜第一名，在4.5亿个单词中出现了12545825次。因为熟悉我们总以为掌握了它全部的用法，但是除了作系动词，这些用法你都知道吗？

频率最高的搭配：

词义解析：

1.used to say something about a person, thing, or state, to show a permanent or temporary quality, state, job, etc.
（用来说明人、事物或状态，表示性质、状态、工作等）

He is wealthy. 他很富有。

It's hot today. 今天很热。

What do you want to be (= what job do you want to do) when you grow up? 你长大后想做什么？

[ + -ing verb ] The problem is deciding what to do. 问题在于决定要干什么。

[ + to infinitive ] The hardest part will be to find a right place. 最困难的就是找合适的地方。
