Having professional pictures was also an extra cost to account for when pushing a new drinks menu. When these events were sponsored by other companies, usually for promotional purposes or for annual appreciation celebrations, all the costs would be covered by the hosting companies. Depending on their budgets, the function could range from a small party to a large event involving the media. Hodge especially liked to host these corporate events because not only did his club make money by providing the food and drink, his establishment would get a lot of press coverage as well.
