As food safety was becoming a greater concern, people were paying more and more attention to the importance of where their food was coming from, how that food came about and what it was that they were putting in their mouths. The food makes the person. With food production these days, too many different chemicals were added, and too much was modified. This was especially true with processed food and fast food. Quite often, people thought they were eating one thing when in fact, they were totally unaware that they were consuming something completely different.
