世博网7月9日消息：泰国政府近日在首都曼谷正式发布参加中国2010年上海世博会泰国展馆方案。

据泰国社会发展和人力安全部介绍，上海世博会泰国馆将以“泰国人：可持续生活方式”为主题，在建筑上展现浓郁的泰式风格。泰国馆预计占地3117平方米，共分为三个展厅：第一展厅名为“和谐的历史之旅”，以中央的悬空水幕为特色，巨幅电子屏将透过水幕描绘绚烂多彩的泰国历史；第二展厅名为“不同声音的和弦”，体现泰国本土与整个世界的经济和文化的融合；第三展厅名为“和谐的泰国人”，展现泰国各民族、各阶层共同繁荣的景象。上海世博会期间，泰国展馆共可接待约600万人次的参观者。

泰国社会发展和人力安全部长伊沙拉·颂猜说，参加上海世博会是进一步促进泰中友好的良好机会，也将有助于提升泰国旅游业、工业和农业，活跃泰国经济。

Thai government has unveiled in detail its presentation in Expo 2010 and introduced the Thai Pavilion as a showcase to provide the world a comprehensive depiction of Thailand's unique culture.

The theme of Thai presentation in the Expo will be "Thainess: Sustainable Way of Life", the ministry said. Inside three Thai-style pavilions, it will be divided into 3 sections: Journey of Harmony; Harmony of Difference Tones and Harmony of Thais. The exhibition area of Thailand will occupy 3,117 square meters. It is expected to introduce the kingdom to six million visitors during the event. In addition, there will be the daily Thai cultural performance during the Expo of 184 days at the outdoor area.

"This is the right time for Thailand to show our great potentials and perform Thailand's vision on eco-friendly society. Moreover, this opportunity will bring a good relationship between Thailand and China," said Issara Somchai, Minister of Social Development and Human Security, on the release ceremony held at IMPACT Muang Thong Thani, Thailand's largest exhibition center, last week.
