Although he could not see from his side, the desk did look like it had drawers, probably with locks on them. The interior designer took a seat across from the club manager's desk, back where he was before the manager left the room to answer a phone call. After taking a seat, he picked up his notebook again with one hand, and his pen with the other hand. He was not looking at his notebook. While playing with his pen with one hand, he continued to assess the manager's desk.
