Dogs may be man's best friend, but it appears that some cats think that they are man - or at least they sit like them.

It seems there are plenty of felines who like to sit perched on their bottom, legs stretched out and paws placed in front of them.

The owners of the cats seem bemused by the behaviour, with many posting captions questioning what their pet was doing.
