如果你对Kate Bush与Feist那飘忽不定又总能抓住人心的声音情有独钟，那么Lucy Rose正是你所需要的一道冬日暖汤。来自英国沃里克郡的Lucy Rose在今年5月签约Columbia唱片公司之后，9月刚刚发行了自己的处女大碟《Like I Used To》，她迅猛的上升势头已经让她在英国乐坛备受瞩目，受到越来越多歌迷的拥戴。
    还只有23岁，Rose的星运自客座出现在英国摇滚乐队Bombay Bicycle Club专辑《Flaws》和《A Different Kind of Fix》起就不断上升。自从离开沃里克郡的乡下来到伦敦，对于在伦敦大学学院的地理系学业她多少有些漫不经心，相反地Rose与其它音乐人频繁出没在open mic之夜，所有这些表现都为她在伦敦音乐圈立足奠定了基础。她不懈的努力终以客座歌手的形式给予了回报，但现在，她的个人表现，正逐渐成为聚光灯的焦点所在。先是歌曲”Don’t You Worry”被收录在了当红英剧《Skins》第六季，后来则被也邀请和Bombay Bicycle Club和Noah And The Whale一起进行加拿大巡演，然后在今年还参加了Latitude Festival和Bestival等多个大型音乐节。在Lucy Rose纯真的歌声和掏心掏肺之言的背后，她所取得的成功，是其他签约主流唱片公司的音乐人都朝思暮想的。而这一切，都全凭她自己的音乐天赋和努力勤奋。
    如今在英国媒体眼中，Lucy Rose正在成为与Adele、EllieGoulding和Florence Welch同一阵列的下一代英国歌姬中的领军人物。
