世博网6月5日消息：2010年，由回收的牛奶饮料纸包装变身的1000多张造型时尚、简洁实用的座椅，将被放置在上海世博会活动场馆内。记者从今天举行的“绿色世博•椅我为荣”启动仪式上获悉，“绿色世博•椅我为荣”——牛奶饮料纸包装社区回收大行动将在上海市500多个居民小区内展开，活动持续至2010年1月底。

“绿色世博•椅我为荣”——牛奶饮料纸包装社区回收大行动，由上海世博会事务协调局、《新民晚报》和利乐公司联合发起，得到共青团上海市委员会、上海市环境保护局、上海市绿化和市容管理局等组织和机构的大力支持。活动将通过社区宣传、抓点示范、设立奖励机制、健全回收设施和渠道等形式，在社区普及垃圾分类和循环经济等相关知识，动员广大市民将饮用后的牛奶饮料纸包装压扁回收。通过再生利用技术，这些包装将制成1000多张环保座椅，为上海世博会增添一道绿色景观。

The World Expo 2010 organizers are encouraging residents to hand in their dairy packaging, which will be recycled into more than 1,000 eco-friendly couches in Expo pavilions.

The initiative came from the Bureau of Shanghai World Expo Coordination, Xinmin Evening News and Tetra Pak. A ceremony was held today to mark the launch of the green campaign, which will cover more than 500 residential communities in Shanghai and run until the end of January.

Each 1.2-meter-long couch needs 856 250mm paper pack. Sterilized packs can also be turned into rubbish bins, stationery and flooring.

The campaign will be promoted in local communities and there will be rewards for participants. This is part of the organizer's green efforts for Expo.
