He was of course fast-forwarding the video, but he found it very straining on the eyes. Although he did vary the viewing speed by switching between normal speed and various fast-forward speeds, it was still an exhausting process. Moreover, it was very boring. On top of the fact that he was already tired, he felt like dozing off anytime. He kept taking breaks, whether it was running to the water fountain to fill up his water bottle, doing jumping-jacks in the office, or washing his face in the washroom. He wondered how security officers could do this all day.
