Disney releases an official synopsis from Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales, and confirms Orlando Bloom.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales had been filming in Australia for most of the year. Johnny Depp is leading the cast, back in his once Oscar-nominated role as Captain Jack Sparrow. Furthermore, Brenton Thwaites, Javier Bardem, Kaya Scodelario, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally and Stephen Graham are all on board the new film.

The movie has been directed by Joachim Ronning and Espen Sandberg. And over the weekend, a rumour about a further returning cast member was confirmed. For Orlando Bloom is back, reprising his role of Will Turner in the new movie.

Little more is known than that so far, save for this official synopsis...

Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Javier Bardem), escape from the Devil’s Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea…including him. Captain Jack’s only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.

Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales is set for release on July 7th 2017.
