背景介绍：

语言作为一种文化的载体，文明的传承，不仅仅为我们的沟通交流提供了可能，更成为了我们的精神家园和民族的烙印。然而正是这种传播文明的艺术如今却面临文明本身的冲击，由于互联网文化的盛行和全球化浪潮的加速，弱势语言的生存变得举步维艰。据联合国科教文组织调查，全球7000多种语言中近1/3面临灭绝的风险，全球80%的人使用着通用的83种语言，而最少的语言使用人数仅为6人。
有人认为失去一种语言就意味着失去一种文化思维，甚至比物种灭绝更危险。也有人认为语言种类变少更利于人们的沟通，不失为一件好事，对此，你怎么看？

话题：

范例1：

“A cow by itself is just a cow, a meadow by itself is just grass and flowers, but when they are being put together, they can be magic”. Language is such a magic thing with its delicate grammar, elaborate rhetoric and exquisite words. Language reflects the way we think. For example, Japanese people are conservative, thus their language are ambiguous and indirect, while westerners tend to be more straight-forward when approaching a problem, leading to their language being direct. Diversify in languages brings out innovative ideas more easily than single one. In a nutshell, I think it is a more dreadful thing that all people are thinking in the same way than people have some difficulties in communication because of language barrier.

范例2：

People are rarely aware of the fact that there even exist academic study of languages called linguistics. Languages are one of those factors which distinguish human beings from animals. We use languages to communicate, to express our feelings, no matter happiness or not,etc. Sadly, numerous languages are at the danger of disappearing as countless languages are dying right now.Taking what happened to Chinese dialects as an example. With the promotion of Mandarin, many a Chinese dialects especially those minor ethnic groups speak, have come into extinction. It is a great loss not only for China but also for the diversity of the world. To some extent, we should take French as a model who pays great attention to the protection of their language.
