西城男孩（Westlife）有一首脍炙人口的歌叫做 You raise me up. 其中有一句歌词就是
“You raise me up...
to more than I can be”
more than I can be： 超越我自己。

此外, more than 还可以和其他词汇一起构成好用的说法。比如：
more than words can say
字面意思：多于语言能够表达的
实际意思：溢于言表

有一首老歌叫 I love you more than I can say. 翻译过来：爱你在心口难开。
