After receiving his diploma from Davenport University Sunday, Robert Jeffrey Blank decided to attempt a backflip. But things didn’t go quite as planned.

Blank was a little excited about his big day.

After shaking hands with Davenport University President Richard Pappas, The graduate removed his cap, assumed the position and then launched himself into the air. And then: THUD!He turned out falling flat on his face.

Blank was uninjured and was able to laugh off the flip fail. He quickly got up, brushed himself off and walked off the stage.
