The film is adapted by the first one of James Dashner’s science fiction trilogy. It tells us the story of a boy called Thomas ,who woke up in an elevator ,remembering nothing only his name. When the elevator opened, he came to a strange place called “The Glade”. There is surrounded by high stone walls.There were group of monsters threatening to people's lives outside the wall. Within the walls there lived 50 boys who were trapped in the endless forest maze. One day, the elevator sent a girl named Teresa.She was the first girl to "The Glade". Since then, the maze gradually began to change. Everything was in a mess. Thomas and Teresa decided to walk out of the maze, and find the chilling secret behind it.
