Tom and his deskmate, Jane, are talking about Intel Chairman, Andrew Grove. Well, one person is worth mentioning here. His name is probably unknown, but we can see his products everywhere. Yes, Intel Chairman, Andrew Grove. His innovative use of microchip technology helped change the world, and he was named as Time magazine's "Man of the Year". His company produces nearly 90% of the planet's personal computer microprocessors. But do you know why it's Grove? Time's managing editor said, "His mission is his product. Like the steam engine, electricity and assembly line, the microchip has been an advance that propels a new economy. " Yes, I agree. Grove joined Intel in 1968, and he took over as president and CEO. Today, his company is worth US $115 billion, and makes US $ 5.1 billion in annual profit. Yes, what strikes me most is that Grove is quite optimistic about scientific technology.
