de：vi. 同时发生；相符，符合，一致
例如：Your views coincide with my own.（你的看法同我的看法不谋而合。）
          My holiday coincide with John's.（我和约翰同时放假。）

09月24日：Most of the earth's surface is covered by water.地球表面有很大部分被水覆盖。

covered by：被...所覆盖
例如：The moon was covered by the dark clouds.（月亮被乌云遮蔽了。）
          About 3 percent of Alaska is covered by glaciers.（阿拉斯加大约百分之三的面积由冰川覆盖。）

09月25日：His mood alternates between joy and despair.他时而快乐，时而绝望。

1.alternate between： 交替，更换，时而...时而...
例如：Water alternates between ice and water in winter.（冬天，水在冰和水之间变化。）
          The weather alternates between sunshine and rain.（时而天晴，时而下雨。）

09月26日：He usually drops in at my place on his way home.他常常在回家的路上顺便来看看我。

1.drop in：顺道拜访，突然拜访

          I' d like to drop in and see you sometime next week.（我想在下周什么时候顺便来看看你。）

at the door：敲门；把……撞倒；撞墙
例如：I should knock at the door gently.（我应该轻轻地敲门。）
          Knock at the door before entering the room.（请在进房间以前敲门。）
