背景介绍：

After US whistle-blower（内部举报人） Edward Snowden revealed that US government had been hacking into computers in China since 2009, heated discussions seem inevitable. However, this should inspire more non-traditional thinking. Have you ever realized that your privacy and freedom are in danger when living in this goldfish bowl of publicity（全无隐私可言的环境）. Your personal information could be leaked out by many websites. Your individual preference could be counted by calculation technology（推算技术） which will pour more ads into your life. Further, your attentions and time could be exploited by Internet marketers（网络推手） who have the ability to make Web celebrities（网络红人） famous overnight...Sometimes, the Internet and the background systems behind it are like a new panopticon（全景式监狱）in which we are being governed by a "wirepuller"（幕后操纵者）.


Panopticon“全景式监狱”：

最初由英国功利主义哲学家边沁于18世纪末提出，后由法国哲学家福柯引入社会学研究。
福柯将现代社会比做“全景式监狱”，认为西方社会不仅仅是靠国家机器来维持的，还有一张权力和机器的隐形网络来保障，这个网渗透到社会各个层面，形成了无处不在的话语和监控体系，这种监控体系决定了我们怎么想，怎么做。

When I heard the news, what occurs to me at once is the famous novel, 1984, written by George Orwell（乔治•奥威尔）. The omnipresent（无所不在的） surveillance（监控） is not only just from "Big Brother"(the tyrannical<专横的> party leader in the novel) but also around our real life. With a cynical outlook, it is easy for Chinese young netizens to go to extremes, when it comes to freedom, a sensitive but thought-provoking topic. Some people say that China greets the era of We-Media（自媒体） which means everyone can make his voice heard and give vent to their feelings. But, is Internet really control-free or an orgiastic（狂欢的） world of public speech? I feel very doubtful about this. On the contrary, others argue that our lives are filled with untold suffering. They lavishly（非常大方地） throw a lot of verbal bouquets at America who promotes human liberty, human rights and human dignity around the world. The pity is that, however, US cannot be free from vulgar tastes. Just as you can see, she takes pains to dominate the world with high-tech. It is a clear case of the pot calling the kettle（壶） black.

There is no such thing as absolute freedom. Freedom is relative.
Regulation is foundation of freedom, without which no freedom can be guaranteed. So when hearing that a lot of people are furious at micro-blog’s system of real name, I was quite in surprise as I deem the system as a must to ensure truth and responsibility from netizens. Similar to this, people in web, families, organizations and even society, are bound with liability of all levels, under which we function our freedom.
As for what to fear, people are afraid that their personal data might be illegally used by hackers or some underground organizations. In this regard, regulators should take effective measures to prevent privacy leaking.
Freedom is conditional, requiring responsibility from both netizens and regulators.
