2012年9月21日晚，在中国好声音第一季第十一期中，浙江卫视《中国好声音》终极考核大幕开启。刘欢组的四位学员――徐海星、吉克隽逸、袁娅维、权振东率先进行导师终极审核。四位选手分别演唱了《Treat Her Like A Lady》、《Halo》、《滚滚红尘》和《亲爱的小孩》，权振东凭借令人感动的演唱获得直接进入第三轮审核的资格。而其他三位则通过媒体投票决定谁将继 续走下去。

徐海星在第一轮投票中以较大差距率先被淘汰。第二轮考核中，袁娅维演绎英文歌《Crazy》，吉克隽逸则改唱中文歌《带我到山顶》。两位都发挥出了非常高的水准，而吉克隽逸再次胜出，最终与权振东较量。

最后的演唱环节，权振东的《拯救》PK吉克隽逸的《If I Ain’t Got You》，杨坤直言不讳地说，权振东的嗓音不适合唱这首歌。吉克隽逸依然获得了大多数的支持，成功晋级，成为刘欢组进入总决赛的选手。
