Part 1 Micro Expression

7 universal facial expressions: happiness, sadness, fear, anger, disgust, surprise, contempt.

Happiness:
Crow’s feet wrinkles/Pushed up cheeks/Movement from muscle that orbits the eye

Sadness:
Drooping upper eyelids/Losing focus in eyes/Slight pulling down of lip corners

Fear:
Eyebrows raised and pulled together/Raised upper eyelids/Tensed lower eyelids/Lips slightly stretched horizontally back to ears

Anger:
Eye brows down and together/Eyes glare/Narrowing of the lips

Disgust:
Nose wrinkling/Upper lip raised

Surprise:
eyebrows raised/eyes widened/mouth open

Contempt:
Lip corner tightened and raised on only one side of face

Part 2 Festivals
1. Conversations
Annie: Finally, Christmas is right around the corner! The lights, the trees, the presents, the snow. It’s really beginning to look like Christmas!
Johnny: Yeah, that is true. This time of year flies by. It was just Thanksgiving not too long ago, and right before that it was Halloween.
Annie: Ughh! Halloween. I hate Halloween. It’s filled with all kinds of evil things. Monsters, ghosts, vampires…you know-scary stuff. It is completely different than Christmas.
Johnny: I don’t think it’s that serious, but I guess you have a point. So what do you think is so special about Christmas?
Annie: Well the main thing is that it is a season of light, and we can be with the people we love. The most exciting thing for me is to be able to go home and spend time with my family, because I live in another state and can’t see them often.
Johnny: That’s a pity. I guess holidays are more meaningful for you.
Annie: Yes, I don’t take holidays for granted. Last week at Thanksgiving I told everyone at dinner how thankful I am for them.

FYI: Black Friday
Black Friday is the day following Thanksgiving Day in the United States, traditionally the beginning of the Christmas shopping season. On this day, most major retailers open extremely early and offer promotional sales to start the shopping season. Black Friday is not actually a holiday, but some companies give their employees the day off. It has been described as the busiest shopping day of the year. The day's name originated in Philadelphia where it originally was used to describe the traffic from people and cars after Thanksgiving.
