CBS announced on Friday (Feb. 1) that "NCIS" had been renewed for its 11th season in 2013-2014. Series star Mark Harmon has had his contract extended as well and will be back next year.

Since the show's premiere in 2001 (when it was a spinoff from "JAG"), the ratings for "NCIS" have only gone up. Over the past year, the Tuesday-night hit has averaged 21.48 million viewers, representing a 7-percent growth from the previous year.
该剧自从2001年首播以来，收视率就保持只增不跌的良好态势。在过去一年周二晚的每周平均收视人数有2148万，比前年增长了7%。

"NCIS" airs Tuesdays at 8pm on CBS.
