《特种部队2》改由音乐歌舞片“专业户”朱浩伟执导。演员部分则经历不小的换血，续集中大难不死的“白幽灵”（李秉宪 饰）将与新入伙的“萤火虫”（雷·史蒂文森 饰）共同撑起反派阵营，上一集末尾正式升级为反派头目的“眼镜蛇指挥官”也将亮相，但其扮演者依然成谜。特种部队方面，此次虽然走了“男爵夫人”（西耶娜·米勒 饰）、“红发女郎”（瑞秋·尼科尔斯 饰），但风头正劲的性感美女阿德琳妮·帕里奇（饰 杰伊）以及艾洛蒂·袁（饰 金克斯）迅速补位，弥补了香艳看点。

G.I. Joe: Retaliation (also known as G.I. Joe 2 or G.I. Joe 2: Retaliation) is an upcoming 2013 American action thriller directed by Jon M. Chu, based on Hasbro's G.I. Joe toy, comic and media franchises. It is a sequel to 2009's G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. The film was written by Zombieland writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. G.I. Joe: Retaliation features an ensemble cast, starring Bruce Willis and Dwayne Johnson, with Channing Tatum, Arnold Vosloo, Ray Park, Jonathan Pryce, and Lee Byung-hun reprising their roles from the first film. The US release date is March 29, 2013.
