1 继续加强词汇，目前尤其强调高频词汇的记忆；
2 重点研究近三年半的真题；
3 练习并回顾做题方法：通过练习强化解题方法，融会贯通。

二、四六级阅读做题方法梳理

定位的方法：

1 关键词定位法：
    优秀的关键词：专有名词; 时间数字; 极端词汇;
    无以上特征则：首选名词，其次动词，再次形容词。

2 出题顺序与行文顺序一致：
    不易定位，或无关键词时，利用前后题目定位点，确定中间题目出题范围。‘

3 考点辅助定位法：
    在确定范围比较大的情况下，寻找考点。

常考考点句：因条转，列举引，比递长。

三、真题分析

以2010年12月的六级阅读真题中的快速阅读和一篇传统阅读为例进行分析。
快速阅读：
1.In its 1994 report, the World Bank argued that the current pension system in most countries could ______.
［A］ not be sustained in the long term
［B］ further accelerate the ageing process
［C］ hardly halt the growth of population
［D］ help tide over the current ageing crisis

解析：来自文章中的这句：
By 1994 the World Bank had noticed that something big was happening. In a report entitled “Averting the Old Age Crisis”, it argued that pension arrangements in most countries were unsustainable.
由此可见，A与原文说法最为接近，属于2. 结构相同，而词语同义替换。把文章中的unsustainable换成了not be sustained。

4.The author believes the most effective method to solve the pension crisis is to ______.
［A］ allow people to work longer           ［C］ cut back on health care provisions

解析：来自文章中的这句：

再看2010年6月四级传统阅读：

D) It has yielded positive results.

解析：来自于文章中的第一段：
The $11 billion self-help industry is built on the idea that you should turn negative thoughts like "I never do anything right" into positive ones like "I can succeed." But was positive thinking advocate Norman Vincent Peale right? Is there power in positive thinking?
共两句，根据题目中的信息可见，应该是要求考生根据第一句进行解题，而对比选项来看，B项是对原文进行了2. 结构顺序相同，而词语同义替换。于是选择B。
