When it was announced that Tom Hooper, the famed "King's Speech" director, was doing a big-screen adaptation of "Les Miserables," you might have thought that you dreamed a dream. (Hey, a little theater humor!) However, now there's proof (and it's not in the form of a bootleg trailer, either): Universal has released the first stills from the anticipated flick.

The revamped classic boasts an all-star cast -- Hugh Jackman as Jean Valjean, Russell Crowe as Inspector Javert, Anne Hathaway as Fantine, Amanda Seyfried as Cosette, Helena Bonham Carter as Madame Thénardier, Sacha Baron Cohen as Monsieur Thénardier, Eddie Redmayne as Marius, and newbie Samantha Barks as Eponine.

近日，环球影业公布了新版《悲惨世界》（ Les Miserables）第一批剧照。该片由因《国王的演讲》（ King's Speech）而名声大噪的导演汤姆·霍伯 （Tom Hooper）执导。而演员名单也堪称豪华。

休·杰克曼 （Hugh Jackman ）饰演冉阿让（Jean Valjean），罗素·克劳 （Russell Crowe）饰演沙威警长（ Inspector Javert）、 安妮·海瑟薇 （Anne Hathaway ） 饰演芳汀(Fantine)、 阿曼达·塞弗里德 （Amanda Seyfried） 饰演珂赛特（Cosette）、 海伦娜·伯翰·卡特 （Helena Bonham Carter ） 饰演德纳第夫人（ Madame Thénardier）、萨莎·拜伦·科恩 （Sacha Baron Cohen）饰演德纳第先生（ Monsieur Thénardier）、埃迪·雷德梅尼（ Eddie Redmayne）饰演马吕斯(Marius)，新成员 萨曼莎·巴克斯（Samantha Barks）饰演爱潘妮（Eponine）。
