Glee-struck Lindsay Lohan resembles Elizabeth Taylor in an old magazine photo. While Lilo may or may not be the right choice in the upcoming movie Liz and Dick on Lifetime, she looks like the late star's twin sister.

Believe it or not, Lohan has landed a high-profile role in a new movie role. Who would have ever guessed the troubled star would star in a biopic about one of America's most beloved actresses? Can you imagine the betting odds in Las Vegas, had this come up as a proposition bet? Undoubtedly, she would have been a long shot, at best.

Arguably, Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba, Natalie Portman, Mila Kunis, Drew Barrymore, and a growing list of other celebrities would have been "ideal" choices. However, in the end, Lifetime producers saw something in her that a layperson would find dubious.

Long before Liz Taylor died of congestive heart failure last year, Lilo was a fan, and felt honored to pay tribute to her celebrity for the magazine's cover.

On her Liz and Dick role:

"I have always admired and had enormous respect for Elizabeth Taylor. She was not only an incredible actress but an amazing woman as well. I am very honored to have been asked to play this role."

伊丽莎白·泰勒被誉为影坛上不可多得的瑰宝，纵横好莱坞60年，有好莱坞传奇影星、常青树、世界头号美人、玉婆之美誉。她是影史上第一个片酬过百万美元的演员，曾两获奥斯卡金像奖。2011年，79岁的泰勒溘然长逝，令世界影迷为之缅怀与惋惜。

早在泰勒的电视传记片筹备初期，罗韩就已经被列为扮演泰勒的候选人之一，另外一大热门就是曾拍摄过《变形金刚》的性感女星梅根·福克斯。不过在上个月初期，罗韩曾非常自信地表示：“我已经为这部传记片做了很多很多的研究，对我来说泰勒一直是一位了不起的女性，能扮演她是我的荣幸，我不会让任何人失望的。”

现如今，筹拍泰勒传记片的Lifetime电视台也已经正式确认，罗韩将出演这位流芳百世的传奇女星。该电视台的执行副总裁罗伯特·沙雷诺表示：“我们很高兴能由林赛·罗韩来扮演好莱坞的传奇伊丽莎白·泰勒。林赛·罗韩是一位非常罕见的演员，她的天赋和美貌非常符合泰勒的内在特质。”

质疑：“坏女孩”形象打折扣

不过，在获知这一消息后，也有“玉婆”粉丝表示反对，认为“派对女王”罗韩的个人形象欠佳。罗韩近年一直和大量的法律诉讼、短暂的监狱生活和强制戒酒等行为联系在一起。因此电影制片人指出，希望罗韩处理好个人的私生活问题，一改之前的“坏女孩”形象，如若不然，罗韩的这个角色，随时有可能被取缔。

罗韩为了更好地出演泰勒，已经向法庭申请了终止法律诉讼的申请。兴奋异常的罗韩也亲口保证：“我一直都非常钦佩和尊重伊丽莎白·泰勒，她不仅是一位令人难以置信的女演员，而且还是个了不起的女人，我很荣幸能够扮演这个角色！”罗韩还表示，自己将认真研究与泰勒有关的所有资料，包括她的老电影、传记以及各种各样的访谈。

传记片《利兹和迪克》这个片名分别取自泰勒和前夫——男演员理查德·伯顿的小名，这两位巨星间两度姻缘分分合合是好莱坞最著名的婚事。影片将以两人充满戏剧化的情史为线索，剧本由《自闭历程》编剧克里斯托弗·蒙格操刀，但是导演人选尚未确定。该片将于今年6月在洛杉矶开拍。
