04月09日：Could I have it within ten minutes please?请在十分钟之内给我好吗?

：prep. 在（某段时间、范围）内；adv. 在…里面；n. 内部
例如： I'll be coming within an hour.（一小时之内我就会到。）
          He decorated his house within and without.（他装修房屋的里面和外面。）
          Seen from within, the cave looks larger.（从内部看这山洞显得比较大些。）

04月10日：We really appreciate your help.我们非常感谢你的帮助。

1.appreciate：v.[T] 感激，欣赏，意识到；v[I] 增值
例如：I really appreciate his complete absorption in his work.（我很欣赏他对工作的极端专注。）
         They failed to appreciate significance of the precautions.（他们没有意识到这些预防措施的重要性。）
         Our house has appreciated by 50% in the last two years.（在过去的两年中，我们的房子增值了50%。）

04月11日：The project has two main aspects.这个计划有两个重要的方面。   

：n. 方面，方位，外观
例如：He has made progress in every aspect.（他在各方面都有起色。）
          The building has a southern aspect.（那座建筑是朝南的。）
          The fierce aspect of the salesman frightened the customer off.（那个店员的凶相把顾客吓走了。）

04月12日：Seals basked on boulders in a flat calm.海豹静静地躺在卵石上。

：v. 取暖，晒太阳，感到温暖、快乐，处于令人愉悦的环境（气氛）中
例如：I saw her basking in the sunshine.（我看到她在阳光下晒太阳。）
         Jack basked in his wife's admiration.（杰克得到他妻子的赞赏而洋洋得意。）
        Our country is basking in an economic boom.（我国正处在经济繁荣之中。）

04月13日：The two sides still differ over the plan.双方对于计划仍有分歧。

：v. 意见不同，不一样，有差别
例如：They differ in size but not in kind. （这些东西的区别只是大小不同而实质一样。）
          We differ about moral standards.（我们对道德标准看法不一致。）

04月14日：He finds the natural world fascinating.他发现自然世界非常吸引人。

1.fascinating：adj. 迷人的，有极大吸引力的
例如：The book is fascinating, despite its uninspiring title.（这本书很有意思，虽然书名并不吸引人。）
          The gloss and glitter of Hollywood seemed fascinating to the girl.（好莱坞的虚荣与繁华似乎强烈吸引着这个女孩。）

04月15日：I fasten the papers together.我把纸捆在一起。

1.fasten：v.[T] 固定某物，系住某物
                v.[I] 关住，闩住，系牢
例如：For your own safety,please fasten your seat belts.（安全起见，请系紧安全带。）
          It is advisable that you fasten on the opportunity.（你抓住这个机会是明智的。）
