Chinese player earned the MVP award for the Beijing Ducks’ pro basketball championship. The Ducks beat Guangdong to win their first CBA title last week, and the player who is given top individual honors will receive the finals MVP trophy, which was unveiled in the Chinese capital on Wednesday.

The trophy, which is in the shape of an Anta-brand basketball shoe, was shown off to fans and to members of the Beijing Ducks team. Three players from the championship squad have been nominated for the award, Zhu Yanxi, Zhai Xiaochuan and Lee Hsueh-lin.

LeeHsueh-lin is the favourite to get the nod as MVP, after posting an average of 11 points and 3.4 assists in the finals against Guangdong. He was also a workhorse playing all but five minutes of the final series.
