Fresh off of spending the St. Patrick's Day weekend in Boston, Emma Watson was back in work mode as she kicked off a new project titled "The Bling Ring" in Calabasas, California on Monday (March 19).

The "Harry Potter" actress could be seen donning a bathrobe as she was led around the set's first locale chosen by director Sofia Coppola.

Inspired by real life events, "The Bling Ring" tells the story of a group of teenagers, also known as the 'Hollywood Hills Burglar Bunch,' who were caught robbing celebrity homes of stars such as Paris Hilton, Audrina Patridge, Rachel Bilson, and Lindsay Lohan.

Along with shooting material in Calabasas, production will also be taking place largely in Los Angeles, along with a few days in Las Vegas next month.

剧中，爱玛·沃森将扮演的主人公痴迷于上流社会的奢华与时尚，与一群同龄青少年一起偷偷潜入好莱坞贝弗利山庄的明星家中，偷窃贵重物品。而“想成为暴徒”的克洛伊和尼基的男朋友墨西哥保镖罗布结成团伙，他们从八卦网站获知自己喜欢的明星的行踪，并在他们外出时破窗进入目标的家里，偷走衣物、现金、裸体照片甚至枪，然后用这些战利品过起开激情派对、吸食可卡因的生活而全然不想可能被捕。

导演科波拉表示，她希望能借此片以冷静的视角向所有人展现，如今的名流文化和现代文明。这部新片目前被普遍期待，将于今年年底前与观众见面。
