In November 2008, Jennie Garth told OK! magazine that she planned to stick by her husband, “Twilight” actor Peter Facinelli, through thick and thin, despite the temptations. “In this industry, there's always going to be someone more beautiful out there,” said the “90210” actress. “It's easy to be tempted. I'm not interested in taking the easy way out. Divorce is not an option for us. I want to be with my family." But a little more than three years later, that family has split. The couple announced on March 13 they were separating after 11 years of marriage and three daughters – amid reports he cheated. "There are rumors out there which are completely untrue and hurtful to our family,” the pair said in a joint statement. “We just want to make it very clear – there are no third parties involved."

In November 2011, Russell Brand attempted to put an end to rampant rumors he and Katy Perry were headed for a divorce after just 14 months of marriage. “I'm married to Katy,” he insisted during an interview with Ellen DeGeneres. “Perpetually, until death do us part was the pledge … [and] I'm still alive.” The same couldn’t be said for the marriage – Brand filed papers just one month later on December 30.

Agreed her then-hubby, “It really makes sense.” But the deal was off in October 2010, when she filed for divorce from Arquette.

Although she had already been divorced twice, Jennifer Lopez insisted, “Divorce is not – and was never – an option,” in a 2009 In Touch interview when rumors began swirling she was headed for a split with third husband Marc Anthony. “Every time I’m not wearing my ring, people think I’m getting divorced.” Yet two years later, in July 2011, the duo, parents to now-4-year-old twins Max and Emme, announced it was finally over after coming to an “amicable conclusion.”

But her statement was proven false just three months later when the couple announced they were going their separate ways.
