University, Software Engineer (Menlo Park or Seattle)

Facebook is seeking Software Engineers to join our engineering team. You can help build the next-generation of systems behind Facebook’s products, create web applications that reach millions of people, build high volume servers and be a part of a team that’s working to help people connect with each other around the globe.

This position is full-time and there are minimal travel requirements.

Responsibilities:

* Code web services using primarily C++ and Java

* Create web applications using primarily PHP

* Implement web interfaces using XHTML, CSS, and Javascript

* Build report interfaces and data feeds

Requirements:

* Graduating with a B.S. / M.S. / PhD in Computer Science or related field

* Expertise with C++ and/or Java

* Knowledge of perl or PHP or python

* Knowledge of relational databases and SQL

* This opportunity is located in our Menlo Park, CA headquarters as well as our Seattle, WA office.
