Have you been thinking about going to school in an English-speaking country but don’t know where to go? Then an education fair just might help you. At these fairs, representatives from high schools, universities and graduate schools gather to present their programs. This is your chance to meet face-to-face with someone from a school. But before you go, do some homework on the schools attending the fair. That way you can find out about specific programs that interest you.

In addition, you can attend one of seminars that address issues regarding the mechanics of studying abroad. Sessions discussing application tips, financial and scholarship concerns, visas, insurance and career prospects are frequently offered. Sometimes sample lecture are held, so you can get a taste of what a class is like. You can also find seminars on iBT, TOEFL, IELTS and ESL programs.

An education fair is a good way to obtain information firsthand about a school. If you have been thinking of studying abroad, make plans to attend a fair this spring!
