except for：出了……表所说的不是从同类中除掉，只表示惋惜。例如：The letter is good except for the spelling.（那封信很通顺，只是拼写有错误。）注意与except区分，except表示从同类中除去，例如：I go home every day except Monday.（我每天回家，除了周一。）此句是从每天中出去周一，即从同类中除掉。
