Republican White House contender Mitt Romney says differences over religions should not divide conservatives. Romney’s comments come a day after a backer of rival Texas Governor Rick Perry suggested Romney’s Mormon faith was cult-like at the same meeting.

Republican presidential candidate Rick Perry says he’s open to making changes to social security. Saturday he said make sense to raise the age for receiving social security benefits and limiting benefits to upper-income people.

The Oakland Raiders say long-time owner Al Davis has died. The controversial Davis had a history of winning on the field and batting heads with league officials off of it.

Dramatic video from a coast guard, the pilot of a small plane that ran out of fuel near Hawaii had to be fished out of the water. The pilot suffered only minor injuries.
