A Massachusetts man has been arrested in connection with a plot to blow off the Pentagon and the U.S. Capitol. Officials say Rezwan Ferdaus plans to attack the building with remote-controlled planes filled with explosives.

The first body guard to reach Michael Jackson’s room the day the performer died is set to testify at the trial of the doctor accused of Jackson’s death. Prosecutors are trying to show the Dr. Conrad Murray delayed calling authorities.

Authorities in Alabama can now question people suspected of being in the country illegally and hold them without bond. Those two key aspects of Alabama’s new immigration law were appealed by federal judge yesterday and take effect immediately.

A defense lawyer began final arguments in appeals trial of Amanda Knox. The lawyer told the appeals court Knox has been the victim of a tragic judicial case and has been about 1,000 days behind bars as a result.
