World markets are steady after a wild week. Most Asian indexes finished up and European markets are posting gains. Still, analysts say caution is key until the markets settle.

There could be another GOP presidential candidate tomorrow. A spokesman for Rick Perry says the Texas governor will announce his running for president when he makes stops in South Carolina and New Hampshire Saturday. Perry did not join the other candidates at last night's debate in Iowa.

The Mayor of London says the 600 people charged so far in connection with this week's riot should expect significant sentences if convicted. Police have made more than 1,700 arrests across the UK since the violence began Saturday.

And perfect timing for a group of workers in Canada. 18 employees of Smart Technologies in Ottawa hit a $7 million jackpot. And it happened just days after ten of those workers got laid off. Each group member will take home nearly $400,000.
