We all dream | We have about five dream episodes per night. If you sleep for seven or eight hours, you will go through five sleep cycles, and in each of those sleep cycles you will dream for between 20 - 40 minutes.

Remember, remember | The more dreams we remember, the easier it will be for us to realise what they mean. When you wake up, as soon as you start to move you shift out of any dream state. Within five minutes, 50 per cent of your recall will be gone, and within 10 minutes, 100 per cent.

Five most common dreams:

The most common dream is being chased. This dream means that there is some issue you want to confront but lack the confidence to do so.
Your teeth are falling out. This one means that you are experiencing self-doubt.

You are unable to find a washroom. This dream means that you are always trying to look after the needs of others rather than yourself.
You are naked in public. This means that you are feelin
g vulnerable.

Feeling unprepared for an exam is judging yourself too much.

Here are some more dream types along with what they may mean:

If you dream you are flying: you are freeing yourself from something holding you back.

If you are falling: you need to relax and let go.

If you are behind the wheel of an out-of-control vehicle or if you are late: you feel like you can’t fulfill an ambition and are missing opportunities.

If you find an unused room in your house: you have an undiscovered talent.

A nightmare is a dream that has a higher emotional intensity and occurs when there are issues you are not dealing with. Your unconscious tries to get your attention by making your nightmare more vivid until you start attending to the issue. Nightmares are actually very healthy.
