As one of the highlight and top attractions of last year's World Expo, the China Pavilion, also known as the "Crown of the East", has always been a favorite tourist spot in Shanghai. Having received about 16 million visitors in the past year, the local government anticipates further demand from the public, and has worked out another proper exhibition plan for three months, starting on July 12th. Some of the facilities in the building are now being refurbished, while ticket prices stay the same at 20 Yuan for adults and 15 for students, disabled people and senior citizens.

Meanwhile, the exhibition will run to a new time plan from Tuesday to Sunday instead of its previous seven-days-a-week schedule. According to the Expo Bureau, more exhibitions featuring Shanghai's local cultural relics will be opened in the future.
